Custom repower
This custom repower was performed by one of owners/business partners here at H&M Marine, Shane "Bird Man" McCormack (he's the 'M'). He has a real gift when it comes to wiggling his fingers and making something work again, or making it look brand new. He took out a Universal 5424 from this Ericson 35 and put in a shiny new 25 HP Beta Marine Diesel Engine with a 2.5:1 transmission reduction, which we at Beta Marine West/H&M Marine were happy to provide our customer with. As you can see from the pictures, Shane really puts his all into these custom jobs, and you can see the care and thought that goes into each weld, custom mount, and placement. Ethan is our Beta wiz and can happily tell you what size engine and prop will best perform with your boat. Often times people assume they need more horsepower, when it can be as simple as the right horsepower and the right prop. This Ericson 35 has a 15x12" prop, for example. And when its not smooth sailing, its smooth motoring for another happy customer hear at H&M Marine.

'86 Boston Whaler Super Sport 13'
This project started in November2015. Our customer had been contemplating repowering and making over his '86 Boston Whaler Super Sport 13 for some time and was finally ready to pull the trigger. As a Suzuki dealer, we were happy to provide him with the right amout of horsepower for his boat and then went about finding the right pieces to complete the refinishing. We were excited to find Specialty Marine in San Diego who provided us with a great selection of fittings and nicely pre-varnished wood pieces for the interior, as well as the cushions. Gianola Canvas here in Sausalito fit the cushions into the boat with custom snap fittings to complete the job. Here are some Before and Afters of this gorgeous repower.
